Mangrove Driftwood is very popular in aquairum use whether it is planted aquarium or fish only system. Needless to say we use it in most of our shrimp tanks as well as many of our planted aquariums. Shrimp of all size love all the hiding places this wood provides.

Most of the time it will sink imediately so there is no hassle to weigh it down or wait soaking it. As most of the woods it will give out some tanins which will dissapear in few weeks and waterchanges.
