Almond Bark is used to lower the pH in a mild way. It contains tannic acid and humic acids. Using Almond bark helps recreate natural habitat of tropical shrimp and fish. In addition, the Almond bark has germ-inhibiting effect, which is beneficial to a healthy fish and shrimp.
The effect is compared to almond leaves which is generally stronger and acting faster. It is a pure natural product. The Almond bark lasts for ever and rots in Aquarium extremely slow.
Usage:
Place 1 piece of bark (around 2.5 g) for about 150 liters of water. Previous washing with hot water is recommended. Yellow coloration of the water is normal.
